RAM Technologies Group, Inc was organized in May of 2001 to identify and develop new crumb rubber modified asphalt materials with a view to reducing polymer costs in modified asphalts and products manufactured from them.  

RAM has filed for numerous patents and received three patents for the modification of asphalt and for emulsions created from those modified asphalts.  In keeping with the continued research has filed continuations and new patents relating to ongoing research and development insuring that the technology imparted is fresh and cutting edge. 

RAM has licensed, many of the precursor intellectual property it has developed over the years.  Ongoing research has resulted in better and more efficient methods for Rubber Asphalt Modification.  RAM technology for incorporating crumb rubber into asphalt blends and emulsions has moved well beyond the original concept. 

RAM has worked with many of the US asphalt suppliers over the last 5 years to illustrate the viability of the improved and patented technology.  The Technology consists of a patented processes for producing chemically modified crumb rubber asphalt and emulsions and polymer modified asphalt products emanating from that base technology.  

RAM modified asphalt is very stable and not subject to settling and remains homogenous in storage.  Current licenses with partners in the Middle East prohibit the licensing of this technology in the Middle East and Africa.  These geographical locations have been reserved by a license with RAETEX, LLC and their affiliates in Doha, Qatar.  All discussions with licensees concerning the potential use or license of RAM Technology are covered by confidential and non-disclosure agreements
